If tears could build a stairway And memories were a lane I would walk right up to Heaven And bring you back again.

A tiny flower lent, not given to bud on earth and bloom in heaven.
If Love could have saved you,
You would have lived forever.

All I can do is remember her. I can't experience her. The person to whom these memories are attached is no longer here with me, standing up. She's only a memory now, not in my life. Nothing new can happen between us. Miss you Millie jo x

Sleeping for an eternity . . .
Is our Millie.
May her body rest,
but her spirit soar
Her memory will live on in all our hearts till we meet again.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Busy little hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
But burying infants,
we bury the future,
unwieldy and unknown,
full of promise and possibilities,
outcomes punctuated by our rosy hopes.
The grief has no borders,
no limits,
no known ends
and the little infant graves
that edge the corners and fencerows of every cemetery
are never quite big enough to contain that grief.
Some sadnesses are permanent.
Dead babies do not give us memories.
They give us dreams.
